Masks are required on all ASU Property and BEX is required to enforce the ASU mask policy or risk our ability to hold future events at that location. Food service will be limited to a ‘Grab and Go’ type service for anyone who attends in person.

Walt Brown
Founder, CEO and Designated Broker of Diversified Partners, LLC
Walt began his career in commercial real estate in California in 1990 where he focused on learning and understanding the real estate business while creating valuable relationships through his positions with Terranomics Retail Services (San Francisco & Newport Beach) and then Mahler & Company (Beverly Hills). In 1992, Walt moved from California to Arizona and further expanded his real estate knowledge and contact base as a commercial agent at Core-Jackson, Oncor International (Phoenix). In 1996, he founded Diversified Partners as a full service commercial real estate brokerage company. Over the years, Walt’s passion, executive oversight and “big picture” mentality have contributed to Diversified Partners evolving into one of the leading Development and Brokerage firms in Arizona. In addition to his successful professional career, Walt is the devoted father of two sons, Wally III and Cooper James. Family is his number one priority and he makes sure to set aside time for his sons, as well as his brothers and sisters. These strong family values are embedded in all facets of Diversified’s business.

Joshua Simon

Joshua Simon began his career in commercial real estate in 2004, and it wasn’t long before his headstrong attitude allowed him to forge ahead and start SimonCRE in 2010, during some of the toughest of economic times. As Founder and CEO, Joshua leads the company’s growth strategy while directing the daily operations. SimonCRE acquires and develops properties all across the country. To date, the company has completed over 210 projects across 22 states, totaling a value of more than $450 million. When Joshua isn’t in the office (which is rare), you’ll likely find him advocating for the CRE community. He applies his boundless energy toward supporting and giving back to the industry he loves. He’s served on a number of boards and routinely presents as an industry expert at conferences like ULI Deep Dive and ICSC Next Generation, as well as forums for AZRE and Bisnow, among others.

Laurel Lewis
Senior Vice President, NAI Horizon
Laurel Lewis has nearly 30 years of experience in commercial real estate. Her specialties include leasing and selling office properties, marketplace analysis in all office-related real estate, site acquisition and disposition, and tenant representation in lease renewal and relocation. Her passion for meeting new people and learning about their businesses, combined with her strategic mind, has led to her successful career. Laurel graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She is an active member of AZ CREW and Valley Partnership. She also volunteers with Saint Vincent de Paul and Andre House. Laurel, who is currently a Senior Vice President, has been with NAI Horizon since 2012. NAI Horizon is a member of the NAI Global family - servicing office tenants in the United States and across the Globe with international capability.
